We choose to work with this cotton because of its unparalleled softness and strength, allowing Pima garments to provide comfort to even the most sensitive young skins, and to keep wash after wash. Our garments are made with care and respect for our world, where our children will grow and thrive.
As a new mum, when discovering the softness of Pima cotton, I wanted to create a collection of baby Pima clothing for all mums and babies to experience this wonderful natural fibre.”

Our organic Pima cotton
Using natural fibres such as cotton for garments has so many benefits to baby’s skin. All of our baby garments are made out of organic pure Pima cotton, which is considered one of the best in the world. It is distinguished from conventional cotton by its extra-long fibres, producing a fabric that is exceptionally soft on baby’s delicate skin, whilst remaining ultra-durable, breathable and wrinkle-resistant. Pima cotton makes up less than 1% of all cotton grown around the world.
Our cotton is certified organic from our farmers in Peru, meaning that is free from harmful substances and chemicals that are often used in farming, instead grown using biologically developed fertilizers and pesticides. Our values promote the use of materials and methods that are friendly to our environment, aligning with our social responsibilities.

Our baby clothing ranges are lovingly made in Peru, where the soft, durable Pima cotton grows. This means the cotton grows in Peru, is carefully harvested here and arrives with our trusted partners within the same country to craft these adorable, fun and beautiful baby clothing ranges we offer. We promote and celebrate the hard work of our partners, that is why we have chosen to have our products made in Peru.
We want to help in the reduction of fast fashion, so when choosing Earth & Baby Co. products, you are helping us in this mission! We do this by creating beautiful clothing, made not only to be used for a few months but instead strong enough to last and be passed on to younger siblings and children of our families and friends. We are able to create these durable pieces by using organic Pima cotton, a type of cotton known for its softness and strength.
We are also conscious of our packaging and marketing materials, choosing where possible recycled materials and in other cases recyclable materials anywhere possible. This is why you’ll find that our orders are thoughtfully wrapped in tissue paper, have paper tags, and are shipped in cardboard or paper bags.
