How to Care for your Earth & Baby Co. baby clothes
The good news is that it is easy to care for your Earth & Baby Co. Pima clothes! Simply follow the below care tips to keep baby’s Pima garments fresh and beautiful wash after wash.
Ensure to always wash the garments inside out. This tip goes for hand washing as much as it does for machine washing. Try to use special detergents designed for baby or delicate garments, to help avoid allergies or skin irritation. Remove garments from the washing machine as soon as the cycle is finished to keep them more easily wrinkle-free. Please use this as a guide but always read the inside care label before washing.
Wash
Be sure to check the garment’s care label which will indicate if it is best to machine wash or hand wash. Avoid use of fabric softeners as it can sometimes cause the fabric to become dull.
Temperature
Wash in warm or cool temperatures to prevent garments from shrinking or fading. Be careful when using hot water temperatures as cotton can shrink.
Drying
To keep pima at its softest, its best to let garments air-dry. If using a machine dryer, make sure to use low heat.
Ironing
If you’d like to iron your baby’s garments, please iron inside out on a high heat whilst damp. Never iron directly on a design.
